LANZAROTE FOIL CHALLENGE 2021

The inaugural Lanzarote Foil Challenge 2021, held on May 8, was a premier, 200km+ (approx. 80 nautical miles) "round-the-island", single-day, non-stop windsurf-foil race, featuring 16 competitors, including 11 professionals and 5 locals. Brazilian sailor Mateus Isaac won the event. The intense, physically demanding race was organized by the Los Charcos Windsurfing Club with Marina Rubicón and Canarian Sailing Federation.
